Right Response Training
Know what to do before you need it.
At PHILLIPS, we provide our community with access to RIGHT RESPONSE Training. This training is ideal for parents and caregivers of our students with behavioral challenges. It will teach you how to prevent, address, and manage your child’s behaviors.
You will learn how to:
Remain in control during stressful situations
Support your child through challenging behaviors
Avoid the wrong response, which can make the situation worse

RIGHT RESPONSE is a proactive and evidence-based approach for de-escalation, intervention, prevention, and positive behavior support.

Completing Sessions 1 and 2 of this training will earn certification in the Primer Level of RIGHT RESPONSE.

Right Response Training for Professionals
At PHILLIPS, we also provide our fellow professionals with access to RIGHT RESPONSE Training. This training is ideal for teachers and support staff to hone their skills further.
The RIGHT RESPONSE training for professionals is proactive, holistic, and immediately effective. It enables participants to De-escalate anyone, anywhere, anytime: unplug the power struggle with principle-based de-escalation.
