At Annandale, we specialize in creating supportive, individualized educational environments for students ages 6–22. Our programs empower students whose unique needs have not been met in traditional settings. Through a strengths-based approach, we address each student’s academic, behavioral, emotional, and social needs while fostering growth, independence, and success.

Personalized Learning Environments

  • Small, self-contained classes led by dedicated teachers and para-educators

  • Differentiated instruction tailored to meet each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)

Integrated Support Services

  • Trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary approach to education

  • De-escalation and Support techniques for behavioral intervention and support

  • Counseling and family support services for emotional and behavioral well-being

  • Speech-language therapy focusing on communication and social skill development

  • Occupational therapy addressing sensory needs, fine motor skills, and executive functioning

  • On-site support from Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

  • Instruction in self-management, self-awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making

Career and Life Skills Preparation

  • Classroom instruction, pre-vocational activities, and on-campus job opportunities

  • Hands-on Culinary Arts training and community-based instruction

  • Smartboards, Chromebooks, and assistive listening tools in every classroom

  • Virtual reality tools to teach social, behavioral, and life skills to neurodiverse individuals

Our Career and Technical Education programs prepare students for meaningful careers through hands-on training and industry certifications.


CTE Pathways: Growing Futures and Building Futures

  • Culinary Arts Training: Equipping students with skills and certifications for success in the food service industry

  • Agri-Enterprise Pathway: Teaching sustainable farming practices and entrepreneurship using our on-campus hydroponic farm

  • Building Trades Pathway: Offering credentialing, OSHA certifications, and training in construction, carpentry, plumbing, and more

  • Work Readiness Programs: Helping students gain real-world experience through internships and community-based employment opportunities
