Fairfax Campus: Grades K - 12

Our Fairfax campus primary focus is on student academic achievement and personal growth through a program that strengthens each student’s self-concept and develops pro-social skills. The school year runs from August to June, with a five-week extended school year program for those approved. Our comprehensive, multidisciplinary team includes a wide variety of professionals providing academic and social/emotional supports customized to meet the needs of each child.

At PHILLIPS School Fairfax, we offer an individualized academic experience with exceptional faculty and staff, personalized learning environments and classes with small student-to-staff ratios.

PHILLIPS Fairfax is approved to serve students ages 5 - 22 and grades K - 12 with challenges in the following areas:

  • Autism

  • Emotional Wellness

  • Other Health Impairments

  • Specific Learning Challenges

  • Intellectual Functioning

  • Multiple Health and Learning Conditions

PHILLIPS Fairfax is licensed to operate from the Virginia Board of Education. We are also

  • Accredited by the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities (VAISEF) whose process has been approved by the Virginia Counsel for Private Education (VCPE) as authorized by the Virginia State Board of Education

  • Approved for placement by Virginia and the District of Columbia

  • Members of the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC), the District of Columbia Association for Special Education (DCASE), and the Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Education Facilities (VAISEF).
