PHILLIPS Schools’ Therapeutic Counseling Services
SPECIAL EDUCATION COUNSELING
At all PHILLIPS Programs locations, counseling services are available to meet the needs of our students and fulfill the requirements of their individualized education plan (IEP). These services may include:
Individual and group therapy
Self-esteem and self-advocacy training
Autism services and social skills training
Trauma-informed treatment
Expressive therapies of art, play, sand, and movement
Crisis intervention
Mindfulness
FAMILY SERVICES
Therapeutic counseling services are available to students' families to ensure a collaborative approach. Services are tailored to each family’s specific needs. Family Services include, but are not limited to:
Communication and planning with families of PHILLIPS students to enhance school success
Home visits, behavioral programming, and support
Referrals and coordination with outside psychological services
Enhance the role of parents and families as child’s first/most important teacher

The therapeutic counseling services staff at PHILLIPS Programs is comprised of licensed clinical social workers, licensed professional counselors, and a developmental psychologist* with certifications in the following:
